Description
A new baseline for ILCA vangs, featuring the Mk2 Harken vang lower and twisted fiddle block with the classic Harken top block with Kingfisher Evo Race78 control line and dyneema primary line. Mk2 lower units are 21% lighter than the Mk1 stainless units, and incorporate Harken Fly sheaves with stainless bearings. The new twisted fiddle block has large beckets for easy tying, while separating the control line to reduce friction in the system. This vang system is supplied with all Zim Race ILCAs. A 15:1 purchase system makes adjusting the vang a breeze. This kit comes disassembled but is very simple to put together!
