J Sails is a family company, established in Poland in 1991. Since inception, JSails specialized in Optimist sails. The company's first success came in 2000 when a new model was designed based on coach and sail maker experience: Classic. It was with this model that J Sails had its first significant success.

The Classic GREEN has been designed for the lightest sailors who need equipment that is fully fit, pro and easy to control.A flatter profile of the sail is its key feature. While designing it we were focused on litght sailors' needs as well as excellent acceleration properties.
Created for both beginners and advanced sailors, the shape will be appreciated mostly by light and less powerful sailors who need a sail that is easy to use and that enables them to demonstrate their skills.
Good acceleration is the Green sail's characteristic feature and obviously it plays crucial role at the key moments of races. Fast start, tacking, difficult race with changing wind are all among the situation where you can strongly count on your J GREEN.
Sail numbers and installation available for an additional fee. If no options are selected, sail(s) ship without numbers.

All J Sails Optimist race sails come with a BLACK USA country code preinstalled (therefore we will number the sail with black numbers). When you choose to add your sail number above, the number will be installed below the country code per class rules. If you choose not to add a sail number, your sail with come with the preinstalled USA on each side.
